Customers in Hanover Township, Northampton County, who get their water from Community Utilities of Pennsylvania can sound off next month on a proposed rate hike.

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission has scheduled a public hearing at 6 p.m. July 15 at the Hanover Township Community Center, 3660 Jacksonville Road. F. Joseph Brady, an administrative law judge assigned to the case, will take testimony during the hearing, the PUC said Tuesday. A PUC decision is expected by Jan. 1.
